Join Delphia Wellness & Serefin Health October 17–18, 2026 | The International Centre, Toronto
This October, Delphia Wellness will be at the National Menopause Show alongside our partners at Serefin Health, joining two days dedicated to better conversations, education and care across perimenopause, menopause and healthy aging.
The National Menopause Show takes place October 17–18 from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. at The International Centre, Hall 5 in Toronto. The 2026 event brings together more than 50 expert speakers and 100+ health and wellness exhibitors, with programming spanning hormonal health, mental wellness, sleep, sexual health, nutrition, fitness and healthy aging.
Why Mental Health and Brain Health Matter in Menopause
Menopause is about much more than hot flashes.
Changes during perimenopause and menopause can intersect with mood, anxiety, sleep, concentration, memory and stress regulation. The Menopause Society reports that approximately 40–60% of midlife women experience cognitive symptoms during the menopause transition, including forgetfulness, difficulty concentrating and the experience commonly described as “brain fog.”
Research also suggests that the menopause transition can represent a period of increased vulnerability to depressive symptoms for some women. A prospective study published in JAMA Psychiatry, for example, found an increased risk of first-onset depressive symptoms among women entering perimenopause compared with women who remained premenopausal.
Brain health matters here, too. A 2024 review in Menopause notes that longitudinal research has identified small but measurable changes in memory performance during the transition into perimenopause. Importantly, these changes generally remain within normal cognitive ranges, but the experience of brain fog can still have a meaningful impact on daily life, work and wellbeing.
This is why we believe menopause care needs to look at the whole person—not only hormones or individual symptoms, but mental health, sleep, stress, relationships, work, nervous-system regulation and the broader realities of midlife.
